Prem Kumar Sharma

I build AI systems, research how they work under the hood, and help others do both.

Currently a Research Associate at IIT Bombay, working under Prof. Vikram M. Gadre on AI explainability, deepfake detection in biometric fingerprints, and signal/image processing using wavelets, time-frequency methods, and machine learning.

Previously a Generative AI Engineer at LOQO AI for more than a year, where I built text-to-video pipelines, worked with GPT-4, LLaMA, BERT, Stable Diffusion, and applied RAG, fine-tuning, and prompt engineering to ship production GenAI systems.

I also consult businesses and startups on AI product strategy: scoping problems, writing PRDs, defining architecture, and bridging the gap between what AI can do and what a business actually needs.

On the side, I teach and create content. I mentor students in Python, SQL, data analysis, and career planning. On YouTube and LinkedIn, I share what I'm learning. No polished narratives, just the real process of figuring it out.
